Download or delete your data

Your CV and account information are yours. You can take a copy or remove them whenever you like.

Download my data

In your account settings choose Download my data. You receive a copy of the information we hold about you. For a file of a single CV, see Download formats.

Delete my account

In your account settings choose Delete my account. Because this cannot be undone, we ask you to confirm your password or passkey first.

When you delete your account:

  • Your CVs, contact details and other personal content are erased.
  • We destroy the key that protects your data. Your information is stored encrypted with a key of its own, so once that key is gone, anything left in a backup can no longer be read. This is sometimes called crypto-shredding.
  • Public links stop working.

If you pay for Premium, cancel first so you are not charged again. See Cancel and refunds.

How your data is protected

Your CV content, contact details, sign-in history and support messages are encrypted before they are stored. Our staff cannot read your CV content as part of normal work; access is limited to exceptional, recorded cases.

Inactive free accounts

If a free account is not used for 24 months, we delete it.

Support messages

Messages you send through the contact form are stored encrypted too, and are removed after a limited time.
